My name is Jim Gormley, been married to my lovely wife Marsha for 27 years.  Blessed with 3 children, a few dogs and cats. Born in Rochester,NY in 1952, attended high school in Kettering, OH, moved to Cincinnati in 1971.  Began attending service at NT Unity on & off late in the 1970's, became a member in Feb, 1992.  I love to fish, which got me started with a digital camera in 1999.  Got good with the software & learned I could make almost any exposure into a "good" photo.  Upgraded from a Sony MVC-FD81 to a Sony DSC-S85 in 2002.

Started taking some spring flower pictures in April 2004 and then got on the PR Committee as a picture taker.  Shot the Barker Meditation Garden groundbreaking,  That led to the picnic the following week, then the garden dedication service.  When I could, I'd take pictures of the progress of the garden.  Suddenly I noticed I was missing great photo opportunities during the Sunday services so I started bringing my camera in.  Then it became what I like to call a passion, others might call it an obsession. Reguardless I was driven from within for a reason ( I now believe for the NTUnity Website) and desire to share these pictures as much as I enjoy them.
